Bury 1 - 2 Torquay
Bury blew the chance to close the gap on League Two leaders Chesterfield as they were deservedly beaten by Torquay.
The Shakers got off to a great start when on-loan striker Chris Holroyd flicked in David Worrall's cross.
Craig Stanley equalised for the Gulls when he thumped home following a goalmouth scramble.
Chris Zebroski headed the visitors into the lead from Kevin Nicholson's deep corner and they held on to claim an impressive victory.
Bury remain 10 points behind the Spireites at the top of the table, while Torquay are just one point off the play-off places.
Torquay United manager Paul Buckle told BBC Radio Devon: "We gifted them the start they were looking for.
"Second half I thought we were outstanding, the game-plan was to get the ball to the front a bit quicker and Bury can have no complaints.
"We ran the clock down without getting any silly bookings and frustrating anyone and it was a professional performance."
