Track Cycling Worlds 2014: Jess Varnish into sprint semi-final

Jessica Varnish wins the all-British quarter-final in the women's individual sprint at the World Track Cycling Championships in Cali, Colombia on Friday.

Varnish beats team-mate and current champion Becky James, the pair having combined to win bronze in the team sprint on Wednesday.

Earlier on Friday, Britain's Joanna Rowsell won gold in the individual pursuit to take their tally to three for the championships so far.
