Tour de France 2013: Will there be Tour carnage in Corsica?

BBC Sport's Matt Slater reports from Corsica as it prepares to host the start of the Tour de France on Saturday, the first time cycling's most prestigious road race has visited the island.

Britain's Chris Froome is favourite to win the 100th edition of the Tour, but Team Sky team-mate Geraint Thomas warns that Corsica's narrow roads will make the first three stages a real challenge, both "physically and mentally".
