One-Day Cup: Glamorgan undone by Bollinger haul for Kent
Royal London One-Day Cup, The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence
Kent 210-4 (43.4 overs) beat Glamorgan 209 (46.4 overs) by six wickets
Kent eased to a six-wicket victory over Glamorgan to go top of the One-Day Cup Group B table.
Doug Bollinger (5-35) helped restrict Glamorgan to 209 all out, with only Chris Cooke (73) making a half-century.
The hosts, who played out a thrilling tie at Surrey on Tuesday, were given a solid start by Ben Harmison (43).
Fabian Cowdrey (42) and Darren Stevens (62 no) then put on 70 as Kent won with six overs to spare to maintain their unbeaten start to the competition.
Earlier, Bollinger equalled his career-best domestic one-day figures and took the crucial wickets of Cooke and Murray Goodwin (40).
Kent bowler Doug Bollinger:
"It was a great night. The wicket was really good and I just came out, tried to bowl fast as I could and hit the wicket as hard as I could.
"The other guys bowled well around me and we fielded well, which kind of made it all up.
"With one-day cricket, width is the key for batters, so I tried to bowl as straight as I could, restrict them to ones and keep the fours and sixes minimal. It's a simple game made difficult by me."
Glamorgan captain Mark Wallace:
"We were pretty poor. Kent played very well. Doug bowled outstandingly and we didn't get enough runs.
"When you're defending a low total you need to take early wickets and we couldn't get them.
"We were well beaten in the end."
