Marcus Trescothick signs new Somerset deal
Former England batsman Marcus Trescothick has agreed a new three-year deal with Somerset.
The 37-year-old, who will now effectively end his career with the county, has scored over 13,500 runs for Somerset at an average of 43.72.
"I have been at the club for 20 years now and this is just another extension to my playing career," he said.
"I'm delighted to sign this new deal which takes me to 40, which is my first target and we'll go from there."
