Sussex spinner Will Beer has signed a new two-year contract with the club.
The 24-year-old, who came through the youth academy at Hove, took 17 wickets in 17 appearances in the FLt20 and CB40 competitions last season.
The Crawley-born player said: "I have grown up playing my cricket with Sussex and it is a fantastic honour to sign a new contract.
"I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and hopefully contributing towards winning trophies."
Beer has yet to make a major impact in Championship cricket, having so far made only five first-class appearances but Sussex coach Mark Davis added: "Will has steadily improved year upon year.
"Hopefully this will allow him to develop further and develop into the complete player we think he can be."
