Warwickshire warmed up for Saturday's CB40 final with a resolute batting display to earn a draw against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.
Nottinghamshire, 444-8 overnight, added a further 25 runs to declare on 469-8 with Paul Franks ending on 86 not out.
The Bears, chasing 421 to win, reached 290-8 at stumps thanks to Chris Woakes (80), Ian Westwood (46), Keith Barker (44 not out) and Ian Blackwell (44).
Franks took 4-47 but it was not enough to claim a Nottinghamshire victory.
Division One champions Warwickshire are aiming for a league and cup double on Saturday when they play Hampshire in the CB40 final at Lord's.
