Lancashire's Tom Smith scored 83 as his side's County Championship Division One match against Surrey ended in a draw.

After rain had washed out the first two day's play at Liverpool, Surrey batted throughout the third day on Thursday.

They resumed on 324-5 on Friday and added a further 43 runs before being bowled out for 367 with Zander de Bruyn scoring 125 and Tom Jewell adding 70.

Lancashire's Luke Procter took 7-71 before his side declared on 142-2 as the match came to a tame conclusion.
