|
County Championship Division Two, Scarborough |
|
Close, day three: Gloucestershire 215, Yorkshire 61-2 |
|
Yorks 3pts, Glos 1pt |
Yorkshire and Gloucestershire suffered frustration for a second successive day as no play was possible on day three.
Play was called off at 13:15 BST by umpires David Millns and Steve O'Shaughnessy after torrential rain.
Promotion-chashing Yorkshire will now have to decide whether to attempt to engineer a result on the final day.
Yorkshire are currently third in the Division Two table and were 13 points behind second-placed Hampshire going into this round of games.
They have now lost a total of 8,561 minutes of Championship cricket this season, which is equivalent to almost 24 days' play out of a total of 55.
