Clydesdale Bank 40: Welsh Dragons grab tense win over Notts
Clydesdale Bank 40 Group B, Swansea
Glamorgan 181-8 (40 overs) beat Nottinghamshire 107-5 (21 overs) by 2 runs (D/L method)
Welsh Dragons have won for the third time in the Clydesdale Bank 40 by beating Nottinghamshire by two runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method.
The Dragons were 88-5 but 62 from Ben Wright helped to post a total of 181-8 from their 40 overs in Swansea.
Notts reached 77-4 in 18 overs before the rain came, and then required 33 from three overs to reach a revised total of 110.
They left themsevles needing 13 from the final over but came two runs short.
The defeat meant the Outlaws failed to take the opportunity of going top of Group B, while Glamorgan maintain their slim hopes of qualification for the semi-finals.
