Welsh Dragons v Worcestershire. No result, match abandoned |
The Welsh Dragons suffered more frustration as their FL t20 match against Worcestershire was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Four of the Dragons' eight T20 games have been ruined and this latest setback came 24 hours after their match at Gloucestershire was rained off.
The umpires had been preparing for a seven-over match but another downpour meant even this was not possible.
Worcestershire move level with joint leaders Somerset and Warwickshire.
The game was delayed from its 18:00 BST start and the umpires - Steve Garratt and Jeff Evans - had been getting ready for a seven-over contest starting at 20:15 BST.
However, more heavy rain arrived at the ground and they had no other option but to call the match off.
