The World T20 winner hit six sixes and five fours in his 26-ball innings, backed up by James Taylor's 45, as the pair put on 94 in Notts' 196-3.
Despite Abdul Razzaq's 69 from 50 balls, the visitors fell short on 127-9 as Andy Carter took 3-12.
Notts secure a home tie by finishing as the best-placed runners-up.
