Rampant Warwickshire clocked up their fourth win in five FL t20 games to emerge as serious contenders at the top of the Midlands/West/Wales group.
Skipper Jim Troughton hit an unbeaten 68 to help his side win by seven wickets wih 23 balls to spare.
Chris Woakes took 3-27 as Northants were limited to 153-7.
But Troughton, supported by Rikki Clarke (48) and Laurie Evans, who hit 33 not out off just 12 balls, helped the Bears reach their target on 154-3.
Warwickshire are now level on points with Somerset, who suffered their first defeat at home to Gloucesterershire.
