Sussex 161-4 beat Middlesex 140-6 by 21 runs |
England's Luke Wright belted 91 off 61 balls to inspire Sussex to a deserved FLt20 win over Middlesex at Hove.
The 21-run win earned Sussex a Twenty20 double over Middlesex as they followed up Sunday's 11-run victory at Lord's.
Wright was the mainstay of their 161-4, hitting seven fours and two sixes.
John Simpson (32) and Joe Denly (36) offered hope of avoiding a fourth defeat in five games until spinners Will Beer (2-24) and Mike Yardy (2-30) sent Middlesex sliding to 140-6.
