Rain ruined any chance of a thrilling finish between Derbyshire and Leicestershire on the final day of their Division Two clash at Derby.
A 109-run partnership from Jacques Du Toit (48) and Matthew Boyce (65) helped Leicestershire set the hosts a target of 314, having declared on 169-4.
The heavy downpours then came with Derbyshire still needing 293 to win.
And with the contest dead once play resumed, Martin Guptill (67) helped the hosts close on 91 without loss.
