CLOSE OF PLAY SUMMARY
BBC Radio Kent's Ben Croucher:
"Kent displayed enormous character to bounce back from their
FL t20 exit
to completely outplay Surrey in every aspect of the game.
"Rob Key farmed the strike brilliantly to bring up arguably his finest ever first-class ton.
"He led by example, not only with the bat, but by claiming crucial catches in the field and by extracting the most out of his players after a testing month.
"In reply, Surrey were a bit guilty of losing their heads when the light was questionable. Stevens and Tredwell were simply unplayable on a fabulous cricket wicket."
