Gloucestershire shock neighbours Somerset
Friends Life t20, Bristol
Gloucestershire 124-8 (19.3 overs) beat Somerset 121-9 (20 overs) by two wickets
Teenage debutant Jack Taylor inspired Gloucestershire to a shock two-wicket FL t20 win against Somerset at Bristol.
Taylor took 4-16 to help restrict the visitors to 121-9, Marcus Trescothick top scoring with 28 from 22 balls.
Gloucestershire struggled to get their run chase going, Somerset youngster Lewis Gregory taking three early wickets to leave the hosts 18-3.
But Taylor completed a dream debut with 38 to change the game again as the home side won with three balls to spare.
Banbury-born off-spinner Taylor, 19, included big-hitting West Indian Kieron Pollard among his victims as the South Group's second-from-bottom side turned over second-from top Somerset.
Another promising West Country hopeful, Devon-born Gregory finished with 4-15 as Somerset, who remain second with four group games left, at least made a spirited defence of their modest total.
