Match scorecard |
Somerset's FL t20 game against Hampshire was abandoned without a ball being bowled at Taunton.
Torrential morning rain, coupled with a poor forecast, left umpires Jeremy Lloyds and John Steele with no alternative.
Somerset now take on Sussex at Hove on Tuesday (1910 BST), while Hampshire are next in action at Cardiff on Friday night against Glamorgan (1930 BST).
The no result ends Hampshire's winning run in this season's competition.
The holders had won all their five previous matches to sit top of the South Group.
It was luckless Somerset's second abandonment in 48 hours.
Friday night's game against Kent at Taunton was also abandoned without a ball bowled.
