James DeGale retains European title against Cristian Sanavia
James DeGale retained his European super-middleweight title with an easy win over Cristian Sanavia in Denmark.
The 26-year-old, the 2008 Olympic middleweight champion, put the Italian down three times in the fourth round, forcing the referee to call a halt.
Londoner DeGale, who now has a 12-1 win-loss record, secured the belt against Piotr Wilczewski in October.
In Oldham, Derry Matthews beat defending champion Anthony Crolla to win the British lightweight title.
It was Crolla's second defence of the belt he took from John Watson in 2011.
