1230:PARALYMPICS- Goalball
BBC Sport's Mike Henson at the Copper Box: "All over at the Copper Box where Great Britain have slipped to a 7-1 defeat to Turkey. The scoreline is a little harsh on the hosts though, who with a little tighter defence and more discipline in their attacking play would have kept closer tabs on the Turkish side. Onwards and upwards, with Sweden, Finland and then Brazil in GB's remaining Group A preliminaries."

Manchester City have confirmed the signing of winger Scott Sinclair from Swansea. He will wear the number 11 shirt. Check out the Transfer Deadline Day live text.
-
1220:PARALYMPICS- Goalball
BBC Sport's Mike Henson at the Copper Box: "Goalball is the nearest sport has come yet to replicating board game Battleships. With each attacking attempt, Great Britain try new angles and speed of shot in the hope of hitting net rather than a blocking Turkish body.
"As the crowd can see though, there are precious few gaps in their opponents' watertight defence. GB's rearguard has been a bit more leaky however. They trail 7-1 with five minutes of the second half to go."
-

New Zealand skipper Ross Taylor hit 113 from 127 balls as the Kiwis took on the Indian spinners on the opening day of the second Test in Bangalore.
Taylor reached the seventh Test ton of his career from 99 balls before he eventually fell to Pragyan Ojha. New Zealand were 328 for six when bad light ended play early.

1212:
BBC Sport's Frank Keogh on Twitter: "Mark the date: 20 October, Ascot. Could be Frankel swansong as world's top-rated racehorse set to run in Champion Stakes rather than Arc"
-
1210:PARALYMPICS- Goalball
BBC Sport's Mike Henson at the Copper Box: "This is a real test of the crowd's self-restraint. With all three of each team's blindfolded players relying entirely on the bell in the ball to block the opposition's shots, the fans are repeatedly reminded of the need to keep schtum while play is under way.
"Sounds easy enough, but when Great Britain's trio are desperately trying to locate a partially blocked Turkish shot trickling towards their net, the gut occasionally overcomes the brain. As if to make up for their enforced silence, the crowd cheers Michael Sharkey's goal through the Copper Box rafters, but it is the only home team effort they have had to warm those vocal cords. Turkey lead 4-1 at half-time."

Aled's medal in the F42/44 shot put came with a throw of 13.78metres for a total of 961 points. The 21-year-old Welshman finished 26 points behind Croatian silver medallist Darko Kralj, with Denmark's Jackie Christiansen taking gold.

-
1152:PARALYMPICS
BBC Sport's Mike Henson at the Copper Box: "Great Britain's men's goalball team have got their campaign under way against Turkey in the Copper Box. It has been a long way to this stage. Brothers Adam and David Knott are both on the team and their parents' house was the accommodation for their and their teammates training. They also supplemented their funding by rattling buckets at supermarket check-outs.
"Never mind the financial, they are getting plenty of vocal support from the home crowd. They may need it as well. They have just a shipped a second unanswered goal as the ball slithered into the net to muffled gasps and groans from the crowd."

"I was hoping for anything under 25 seconds, so that is like winning a gold medal for me as I am here just for experience this time going into Rio in 2016."

-
1043:PARALYMPICS
BBC Sport's Mike Henson at the Riverbank Arena: "No goals, but plenty of bish, bosh and ball skills as defending Paralympic champions Brazil draw with France in their opening game of the 5-a-side football.
"All players, apart from the goalkeepers, are blindfolded but as a spectator that is soon forgotten in a hurly-burly of mazy runs and snapping challenges.
"Frederic Villeroux created the best of France's openings, gliding through the Brazil backline on a number of occasions, while Ricardo, bearing a resemblance to compatriot and Real Madrid playmaker Kaka, was the pick of the Brazil players."
-
1033:PARALYMPICS
BBC Sport's Saj Chowdhury at the Olympic Park: "It was cold in London this morning, but now it's somewhat tropical. The Olympic Stadium is about three-quarters full for the first day of the athletics competition at the Paralympics.
"The GB flag-wavers will be hoping for British success, with three-time gold medallist Stephen Miller going in the club and Hannah Cockroft aiming for gold in the T34 200m."

British rower and defending Paralympic champion Tom Aggar is through to the final of the men's single sculls.
-
1024:PARALYMPICS
BBC Sport's Mike Henson at the Riverbank Arena: "Memories of World Cup 1998 at the Riverbank Arena as Brazil take on France in the 5-a-side blind football. It is a very different spectacle from Ronaldo, Zidane and the rest though.
"All the players, except the goalkeepers, are entirely unsighted, with blindfolds in place to even out any differences in vision. The players are guided by a bell in the ball and sighters calling instructions from the sidelines.
"Sounds like a recipe for chaos? Far from it. Deft dribbling and threaded throughballs have peppered the play in a goalless first half, but the biggest surprise has been the crunching challenges. With the crowd required to be silent when the ball is in play, every winding body-check is audible in the stands."
