your fun on a shoestring idea?
Volunteer at Gateway Club which is a Social Club for people with
learning difficulties in Sheffield.
Tell
us about it:
There are lots of activities to get involved in with people who
have learning disabilities e.g. snooker, disco, baking, arts and
crafts, sports (large sports hall available), trips, weekends away
etc.etc.

What
do you enjoy the most?
It's all great fun and the company is fantastic. Volunteers support
the members to have a great time and the volunteers have lots of
fun also.
The
members are great and so are the volunteers -lots of new friends
to make. It runs 4 nights per week so you have the pick of which
night is most convenient.
There
is a choice of whether you wish to volunteer with adults, teenagers
(young adults) or children. There are lots of activities to get
involved in.

much does it cost?
It's free for volunteers and you get your expenses paid.
Is
it good value for money?
It is a great couple of hours, lots of fun and is completely free!

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday evenings 7-9pm Friday evenings 6.30-8.30pm

The
Club lasts for two hours 7pm-9pm Mon,Tues,Wed and 6.30pm-8.30pm
Children's Club on Fridays.
