Describe
your music for us:
Laconic are an alt-country pop four-pice from Doncaster. Inspired
by a shared love of Ryan Adams, Gram Parsons and many other great
bands.
Think Grace Braun, Laura Cantrell and Stevie Nicks on vocals with
even hints of Dolly Parton's brilliance. Simple, romantic and gritty
- without the cliches.
Laconic have already supported bands like The Bluetones, Snow Patrol
and are due to support Ed Harcourt soon.
Who
are your influences?
And
if you could cover one song, what would it be?
'Green Eyes' - Coldplay
'One Way or Another' - Blondie
'Summer iin the City' - Lovin' Spoonful
(not quite one but I'll let them off! - Ed)
