Endcliffe and Porter Valley walk

A walk through Sheffield's Botanical Gardens and along Ecclesall Road, passing through Endcliffe Park and the Porter Valley.

You will see a variety of wildlife and areas of industrial heritage, and discover more the natural history of the area along the route.
Getting there and getting back:
By bus:
Catch the 30 or 50 from Church Street in Sheffield - ask for Clarkehouse Road or Botanical Gardens. Getting back: Catch the 85 or 86 from Oakbrook Road. Buses run all day, approximately every 15 minutes Mondays to Saturdays and every hour on Sundays and Public Holidays. By car: Drive to start point on Clarkehouse Road, (see map). Limited parking available on Southbourne Road, Rutland Park and surrounding roads as well as on Clarkehouse Road, except between 0800-0930 and 1630-1830, Monday-Friday.

Paths are in good condition and the walk is relatively flat, although there is an option to go up and onto Bingham Park - this is a steep incline and would be quite difficult for disabled persons.
