Another
one located in Broomhill, the place is your archetypal modern man's
boozer.
Full
of sofas, polished wood and expensive pool tables, the Place doesn’t
look unlike a certain favourite coffee shop in ‘Friends’.
Generally
quite expensive, although with a large choice of beers and spirits,
here is a pub visited by those who want to be with the beautiful
people, and boy, don’t we know it.
It
is, however, well set out, and quite spacey, and there’s usually
plenty of room to happily chat the night away with your mates.
An
acoustic night every Thursday adds to the chilled out atmosphere,
and if you like your pubs more like a front room, this is definitely
for you.

Awful. Bad beer drunk by people who are dressed slightly more fashionably that in a normal pub.

I have only been here twice due to none of my friends ever wanting to go up Broomhill! I think the £1 entry fee(correct if its changed!) was a good idea because under age youngsters couldn't come in and would be deterred! The place had a nice vibe to it, nice staff and nice ladies!

Do people still use the word "trendy" even in inverted commas? The Place satisfies a demand for a quality place that does not have sawdust on the floor.
