The
Cobden is a friendly local with a good mix of people, from students
to octagenarians.
It ticks all my boxes for a good pub - good drinks, a pool table,
juke box and friendly service.
The wine and real ales change regularly and they have won a CAMRA
pub of the month award so the beer must be good as well.
There is a general knowledge quiz on a Tuesday and a pub quiz on
a Sundasy, with eight pints for the winning team.

Nice review, have been going in the Cobden (on and off) for 40 years. I like Thursday nites-music nite. Have lived in Cobden View Road all my life (60 years).

Lovely lovely little pub. Beers and welcome high quality. Whenever I get in, which is probably only 7 or 8 times a year max, the big guy always remembers what I drink. Now that's high quality service!

Yes I tend to agree good back st pub beer is spot on staff give good service, cleen ,keep it up

I echo these sentiments. A shame I am moving to cursed Norwich, where the beer is scant and pub quizzes scanter.
