Rovers
followed up their Boxing Day triumph at Scarborough with another
away-day victory against Barnet.

Dave Penneys side had to withstand a mini-fightback from Barnet
in the second period, but held out to secure another precious three
points in the quest for promotion.
Jamie
Paterson put the visitors in front after 12 minutes, latching on
to a Paul Barnes pass to fire home from 18-yards out.
And
it was Barnes who again provided the assist for Rovers second
goal, with Robert Gill proving the beneficiary on 18 minutes.
Rovers
were firmly in control of matters at the break, but Barnet started
the second-half with greater purpose and were rewarded with a goal
back, from Ian Hendon, on 52 minutes.
An
equaliser looked a distinct possibility at this stage, but Rovers
doused the flames of Barnets recovery with some steady defending
and finished deserving winners.
