World documentaries - reviewed by you

The Sheffield International Documentary Festival - now in its 8th year - is a world-renowned feast of factual films from across the globe.

This year's festival, held a few weeks ago, put some truly diverse offerings in front of South Yorkshire cinemagoers: 21 different countries were represented amongst the films, 70 of which were UK premieres.

But enough of the impressive statistics - were the films any good?

To find out, we teamed up with Ony Bright, presenter of BBC Radio Sheffield's "Global Sounds" show, and sent a selection of local "armchair critics" to check out four of the festival's highlights.
