One
of the most long-standing art exhibition galleries in Sheffield,
The Graves is home to all kinds of art ranging from the modernist
work of Monet to postmodern representation and photographic experimentation
by those such as Warhol.
Situated
above the City Library, the spacious and well-lit exhibition areas
provide a source of reference and education as well as, at times,
sheer bewilderment of some of the talent that is often on display.
For
any new comers who are avid art fans, this should be the first place
of visit - and keep coming back, as exhibitions are changed every
3 – 4 weeks.
Even
light refreshments are available in the pop art influenced café.
Admission
is free.
