BBC South Yorkshire would like to thank everyone who has contributed their own reviews and comments to the Greedy Cow section over the years.

From time to time we undertake reviews of our content to determine how we offer the best public value with the resources that we have.

Because Greedy Cow has been extremely successful and popular, it would require ever-increasing resources to maintain an up to date, comprehensive and accurate site and we couldn't afford to take those resources away from the other core parts of our site, which are part of our public remit.

So in a way Greedy Cow is a victim of her own success, but rest assured the cartoon-cow has retired to pleasant pastures.
