Ben Elton. He really surprised me by being funny, friendly and still hugely enthusiastic.
:: What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve said on air?
I'm never embarrassed, but my wife is sometimes.
:: What’s been your career highlight?
Gigging in Shanghai. I never thought that I'd get to go somewhere like that, just by telling jokes.
:: How do you spend your time away from the microphone?
Getting beaten up by my two-year-old.
:: Favourite place in South Yorkshire or North Derbyshire – and why?
Bars too numerous to mention.
:: As a 10-year-old child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An actor, believe it or not.
:: Who would you like to be trapped in a lift with?
A lift engineer.
:: Favourite food & drink?
I love paella. As for drink, I'll have anything.
:: What do you never miss on television?
I've seen every episode of The Simpsons 10 times.
:: What would you do if you won the lottery?
Still come to work every morning. Honest.
