The BBC Open Centre at 54 Shoreham Street in Sheffield offers free computer tuition to everyone over 19. Find out which courses are on offer.

Did you know that the BBC Open Centre at 54 Shoreham Street, Sheffield offers free computer tuition to everyone over 19?

All you need to do to begin a course is come along and enrol, bringing your National Insurance number with you.

The courses which we offer are:

  • Introducing the internet
  • Introducing word processing
  • Word processing
  • Desk top publishing
  • Computer presentation
  • Spreadsheets

Opening hours

Monday and Tuesday 0930-1730
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings 0930-1230

There is also a ten week introduction course for complete beginners running from 18th September for more information call 0114 267 54 44.

You can enrol on any of these courses at any time when the centre is open. Just bring along your National Insurance number.
