It
was an exciting day for a young man who's been very involved with
the BBC Radio Sheffield Hospice Appeal for Bluebell Wood.
Little
Jack Waller was going to watch the Red Arrows fly as they launched
a fundraising campaign for the children's hospice.
Jack
and his dad Steve went to RAF Scampton, the home of the Red Arrows,
to support RAF Digby in their fundraising.
RAF
Digby have already raised nearly £1,000 for Bluebell Wood,
some by auctioning Red Arrows memorabilia.
We
went with Jack, and saw him explore a Red Arrow cockpit, listen
to the pilots from the air traffic control tower, and watch the
amazing Red Arrows display, with its trademark red, white and blue
smoke.
It
was an amazing day, and we wish RAF Digby and the Red Arrows lots
of luck in raising more money for Bluebell Wood!
