My name is Walter Mswaka and I am a Zimbabwean living and working in Sheffield.

I am 33 years of age and I work for a project called South Yorkshire Social Enterprise network, as a business adviser.

I am supporting, the Warriors, the Zimbabwean national team who are making their maiden appearance at the Nations Cup, after twenty three years of narrowly missing the continental show case.

Although they lost their first match against the Egyptian Pharaohs, I still think they can still give a good account of themselves, though I don't expect them to win the tournament.

Captain, Sheffield United's Peter Ndlovu who has hinted, retirement from the national team after the tournament would like to bow out with a vintage display.

I am particularly looking forward to the Zimbabwe, Cameroon match on Thursday, 29 January 2004, because the Warriors will be looking forward to defeat the Lions, to rescue their slim second round appearance hopes.

On the other hand the Lions of Cameroon will be trying to erase memories of their disappointing game against Algeria, by convincingly defeating the Warriors.

A Warriors defeat, depending on the outcome of other group matches, might see them starting to pack their luggage for a very long flight home.
