ReportersYou are in: South Today > Reporters > Danielle Glavin ![]() Danielle Glavin Danielle GlavinDanielle, our west Sussex reporter, is a one-woman band. She's a video journalist who finds the stories, takes the pictures, and edits the final report for transmission on South Today. I joined the BBC in 2002 - since then I've worked in regional newsrooms in Kent, Birmingham and now Southampton. I love living back in the south, as I know it well. I studied journalism at Bournemouth University and had three happy years living by the beach driving around in a very old sky blue Beetle. It was always a loud and bumpy ride, but it got me from A to B until its final journey on the M27 when the engine blew up! I have two favourite places in West Sussex - Petworth because of its old walls and beautiful old houses and the South Downs for the views. I love getting out into the countryside at the weekends for the fresh air and scenery - not forgetting the fantastic country pubs with fireplaces and old beams.
