ReportersYou are in: South Today > Reporters > Chris Coneybeer ![]() Chris Coneybeer Chris ConeybeerChris loves the New Forest - helping to bring the beauty of the National Park to our screens. But he's also fascinated by the world of steam locomotives and machinery from the past. I live on the edge of the New Forest and over the years I've been lucky enough to make quite a number of films there. I've come to know many of the people who, through their work, keep it a very special place. I'm married with three daughters. All the family are keenly interested in the environment. I love music, walking, gardening and cooking - they are the perfect antidote to the pressures of the job. Working for South Today means driving - a lot - but I enjoy getting around the south. There are always new places to discover. Much nicer than being in the office - not that I've anything against anyone in the office. They're all lovely people! I like funky music - Lemon Jelly, Kaiser Chiefs and Air are among my favourites. But the all-time favourites are the mighty Led Zep. I became a journalist because of a consuming curiosity about... everything. And I still want to know about... everything!
