This Evening and Tonight:
Rain will spread quickly northeastwards this evening becoming quite heavy at times. The rain turning more showery in nature during the night with some heavy showers likely and squally winds, especially in southernmost counties.

Sunday:
Some bright intervals but further showers or longer spells of rain through the day. Some heavy showers again expected, especially near the south coast.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Rain on Monday slowly easing and clearing. Mostly dry with light winds Tuesday, then cloud and rain spreading east on Wednesday. Continuing rather cold.
