BiOg: AMDG are a Christian Rock band from Horsham, West Sussex, UK. Formed in 1998 by brothers Marky and Phil Daly, AMDG recorded their home produced debut CD album "To the Greater Glory of God" in 1999. The album has been described by Cross Rhythms magazine as 70-80's influenced apocalyptic rock. The band are currently at the mastering stage for the second album, entitled "Albion" and are looking for other musicians to complete the full live lineup once the CD is pressed. In case you're wondering, AMDG stands for the Latin phrase Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam, which means "to the greater glory of God" - hence the title of the first album.

BiOg: It all really started to come together on the evening of Tuesday 12th April 1988. Rik (the original bass player) and I were watching the legendary Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention playing live at the Deutschlandhalle in Berlin. We didn't know it at the time but our friend Tosh Doll, who played sax for us throughout the mid-nineties, was also there.But we hadn't met Tosh by then. Anyway...after the gig we caught the U-Bahn home and maybe it was the buzz of just seeing a genius do his thing in front of you or even just the rhythm of the train (Cross the Tracks)...I don't know why, but something made me say it."We could do that!" The full size 12 piece band includes 2 female backing vocalist/dancers. The compact 9 piece line up has lead vocal, 3 horn players and a 5 piece rhythm section (including backing vocals).

BiOg:John McDevitt - he plays a nice rhythm guitar and sings a bit, so the others put up with him. Mike - his bass playing style is fundamental to the Geist sound, and everybody likes him, despite the fact that he fusses and wants things done properly.
Neill Tupman - has excellent arrangement ideas for the band and plays all the electric guitar on 'Songs For Your Neighbour'. Tends to keep things in their boxes long after the guarantee has run out. Lisa - can harmonise like nobody's business, though a little vague about what day it is. Loves cats. Jamie Morrison - no relation apparently. Great drummer. Easily confused. Mark Knight - a fiddling genius with insomnia and restless leg syndrome. Hoping to make some sense out of things before 2010.

Sharlean Von Weiner the estranged wife of Max, who for a while was a porn star to help pay off Max's huge debts but left him and the porn industry to set up a rest home for ex-porn animals and other creatures of the night.

take part in the National Battle of the bands competition in Wolverhampton and got to the semi-final after taking part in four rounds. Their first CD "forthcoming" was released locally in December 2002. The band has worked hard and diligently over the last year and has now performed over 30 gigs including The Unsung Hero’s stage at the 2003 Guifest. The band is now breaking in to the London scene having played at "West One Four" in Kensington and the "Brixton Telegraph" . In May 2002 Kaz the original lead singer left the band and was replaced immediately by Luke Joyce ex lead singer/writer of Manic H. This brought a new dimension to the music with six new tracks, you only have to listen to the bands new CD "Never Before Now" to know that this band has got the potential to go all the way. BiOg: Tepuki thunder were formed in 2003 and are mitch richards on vocals, james lock on guitar, jonnie burnett on drums and sam marder on bass. bands like the earlier red hot chili peppers material, janes addiction, parliment, and rage against the machine have influenced us. tepuki thunder have recorded an album which is avvailable from the band. Tepuki thunder got into the final of the 2003 battle of the bands, and are looking foward to the competition this year. tepuki have played gigs with bands such as the hostile superheroes, and the mighty farmyard experiance. we are looking foward to recording another album in the summer and a construcitve year ahead.

BiOg: Uncle Blowfish are a Littlehampton based teenage pop punk band featuring vocals by Becky Holloway, Rob Dunne on guitar, Robbie Collins on bass and drummer Craig Hendry. Since forming in the autumn of 2002, the band, who write all their own tracks, have been appearing regularly at venues around the South and have now established a significant fan base. As well as being regular finalists in Battle of the Bands events, their music has been featured regularly on radio stations across the south coast as well as a number of university radio stations throughout the UK.

Because of this, we hibernated, spending months creating a style somewhere between screaming electronica and falsetto folk.
