They
may have played covers but Infearior, Paul and Vanessa,
Mission Impossible, Salvaged and Count Me In ensured
a show packed with genuine variety.
From Slayer to Cheryl Crow the musicians, ranging in age from 13
to 50, provided an electric atmosphere and the crowd enjoyed every
set.
Salvaged, with an average age of 13, were the youngest band
to enter Battle of the Bands so far.
But they gave a fantastic mature performance and proved that if
you've got the right attitude you can wow an audience.

It
was a hard competition to judge and the scores were close but Paul
and Vanessa proved to be the judges' favourite and won £100
plus 2 performances at family events during 2004.
Paul's skilled musicianship on the guitar and Vanessa's rich voice
had everybody chillin' out.
With
talent like this they are bound have gigs every weekend. Next Sunday,
12th October, the Battle returns to the originals section with the
final heat to decide who will play in the November 1st Final.

get a good view.
Battle
of the Bands is jointly organised by The Horsham District Live Music
Alliance and Horsham District Council.
