As
usual the standard was high and the variety of folk, funk, metal
and space rock ensured that the judges were given a hard task in
making their decision.
At the end of the night Slaughterhouse had the edge and storm
through to join Te-Puki Thunder and Paradox in the
November 1st Final.
Heat 4, the final heat, will be held on Sunday 12 October where
Mikey Mike, Four Score, Dwell, Nematosys,
Prodigal Son and Maxi Funk fight it out for the fourth
guaranteed final spot before the judges select their 3 favourite
wild cards to make up the 7 band line up for the final.
This Sunday you can catch the 'Covers Final', where Infearior,
Paul & Vanessa, Mission Impossible, Salvaged and
Count Me In will battle it out to see who takes this year's
'covers' title.
Doors open at 6.45pm and entry is £3/£2HDLMA members. Arrive early
to get a good view.
