A former member of Remi Ongala’s Super Matimila, Kanda was awarded WOMAD’s percussionist of the year in 1989 and he helped found the UK’s Orchestra Baboma. Help playing audio/video Now resident of the UK he is a regular member of Mose Fan Fan’s Somo Somo Orchestra as well as working as a solo artist.
