The garden was transferred to the charity's respite home for families with children with terminal illnesses. It was constructed with the help of landscape students from Guildford College (and a teensy weensy bit of input from our webteam!)

The Royal Horticultural Society show is largest of its kind in the world and in July 2007, thousands of gardening fans saw, smelt and touched an abundance of floral delights.

And last year, BBC Southern Counties Radio is rubbed shoulders with the best of them! We had a show space in aid of our SMILE Appeal for a very special garden. 

The garden was designed by our popular gardening experts, Steve Bradley and his wife Val.

ABOUT GARDEN DESIGNER STEVE BRADLEY

Freelance garden writer and broadcaster, Steve Bradley has an RHS Master of Horticulture Diploma. He also teaches amateurs to academics at the English Gardening School, London.

Steve researches, presents and advises the BBC and independent television stations and on productions such as the Chelsea Flower Show videos, turning to exhibiting (and winning a Silver Gilt medal) in 2002.
