Enter ‘Stitch and Bitch’ – the U.S knitting phenomenon taking the U.K by storm. The Brighton and Hove Stitch and Bitch group meet once a week at Sanctuary Café in Hove. They’re a multi-skilled bunch - spinning a yarn or two, drinking coffee and knitting jumpers, scarves, wedding cakes and anything else that takes their fancy. Lou Peachy, Brighton’s Stitch and Bitch Co-ordinator says: “It’s not just for old grannies anymore.
