Forty Eight Hours

Putting yourself in harms way is not usually recommended. But sometimes it's just, well, fun. And the Arundel Ghost Experience encourages you to embrace your deepest fears.

Descending down into the dank murky bowels of the Victorian cells under Arundel Town Hall is an experience that lingers long after the silken mesh of spider’s web cloyingly sweeps over your face!!

A candle light tour weaves it way through the cells which date back to the time where criminal welfare was measured by links in a chain that nailed you firmly to a glistening wall.

The dungeons ghosts are introduced and invited to join the assembled set. The “Blue Man & the Grey Lady make their presence felt. Screams pierce the dark sending tingles of fear and adrenalin surging all around.

By now the crowd huddle together and a ghostly little black dog can be heard scurrying around which adds to the mayhem. The only yelping noises are those good folk whose imaginations get the better of them!

Events speed by leaving everyone a whiter shade of pale. Drained but strangely exhilarated.

The tour itself is well orchestrated, mingling local history with a sense of gentle fun and genuine frights along the way. For those in need to an extra jolt the Arundel Ghost Experience is worth delving into!

The organisers claim that many Ghost Clubs have conducted very successful overnight vigils on the premises and the prison cells are available for private hire for such events, as well as school groups, private parties, and evening bookings.
