South Live

A picture of a case saying Hightown Crows
In the bag - the Hightown Crows

The Hightown Crows

The Hightown Crows, rockabilly barons from Dorset, pulled into our South:Live studio for a few blasting tunes on 4.12.2005...

The Hightown Crows
The Hightown Crows

From the blue rinsed boneyard of the South Coast, witchdoctors of Boogaloo, the Hightown Crows.

Rufus Stone - Stand Up Bass

Hinton Admiral - Guitar

Emery Down - Percussion

The boys came in on the 4th December to spread a little rockabilly across the South Live airwaves.

They're an ultra portable outfit used to street entertaining - the drummer carries all of his percussion in the kind of suitcase that you would have taken on holiday in the fifties.

You can find out more about the Hightown Crows by following the links to their associated band, The Dead Plants, at top right.
