South Live

A bag with the words 'In it yet?'

Demos:13/1/2005

Here we are - the latest demos for you to rate or slate. On the ochie this week this week, as Jockie Wilson might have once said, are Hijera, Wyrdsphere and Serotonin.

Big Bag Facts - all you need to know

The South:Live Big Bag receives dozens of demos every week.

We always listen to every song that is sent in.

The most common mistake that people make is to forget to put any contact details on the CD.

We only accept demos on CD. We don't accept any other format.

The standard is always pretty high, You've just got to aim to be better.

Before our Demo panel of seasoned judges get out their knives and start carving, here's your chance to have your say.

Take a listen to the three band's demos and ask yourself: 'Which one would I like to listen to again?'.

Notice, please, that we don't ask you to enquire of your inner self: 'Which song can't I get out of my head?'.

Because, as we all know, just because you can't get it out of your head doesn't mean that you are desperate to hear it again.

I'm thinking: ringtone celebrating irritating amphibian, certain numbers by diminuitive Australian popstress, theme tunes to obscure soaps. The list is nearly endless.

No, we want you to decide the song that you like the best and then to use the form below to tell us what you think. It's really easy, safe, hygienic and a better use of your brain power than sending funny-ish emails to people who sit in front of you in the office.

So go on - have a go. The judges, of course, meet on Sunday 13th November at 8pm. Tune in to find out what they think - and to see who gets through.

Simon
Hijera, what a blend of dance and rock. The fusion was great. Like to hear their other stuff.

Kalvinator
The Hijera song is by far the most superior effort, plus they are lovely, polite boys, who would sit pefectly on an evening chat show on local radio.

hijera

HIJERA
