Meerkat Cam
This webcam looks into the Meerkats enclosure. The first Slender -Tailed Meerkats arrived at Marwell Zoo from The Cotswold Wildlife Park in August 1987 and the zoo now has a small family group. They take communal living very seriously indeed, and each member of the pack has a specific task.

The meerkat is a type of mongoose and is easy to recognise, with its slender black-tipped tail, pointed face and black patches round both eyes. They often dig to find food and can close their ears when digging to keep the sand out.
