If you weren't sportsmen, what would you be?
Iain: Well Steve was a flower seller before he was a sportsman ...sorry, he was a 'trader'... he always likes to point out the difference ... so he'd probably be that!
Steve: In an ideal world, Iain would be a taster for wine-gums!

Is your partnership like a marriage?
Steve: It feels like that sometimes ... except we can't get divorced!
Iain: The best way to put it is we have different skills ... well Steve has different skills, I haven't got many - sailing is about the only one I've got. But he completely runs the programme, organises everything and takes a lot of pressure off me.
Steve: I'd say the strengths of Iain are he's a very natural, very talented sailor. You can put him in any boat and he'll pick it up very very quickly.

What are your career highlights?
Iain: A career highlight for me has got to be standing on the podium at the Sydney Olympics - nothing beats that. I remember I just went mental last time, my hands were in the air, I was screaming and shouting. I was doing that so much, the poor guy who was trying to give me the medal had to wait about 10 minutes while I was going mad!
Steve: I've watched the Olympics since I was a little kid, Daley Thompson, Sebastian Coe...
Iain: ...and me, Steve!
Steve: ...and obviously seeing Iain and all the rest of the sailors picking up the medals last time, it kind of spurs you on to think, 'well I wouldn't mind a bit of that, that'd be quite good fun.'

Who are your biggest fans?
Iain: Unfortunately it's probably our Mums who are our number one fans - always cringeworthy!
Steve: They'll be out there cheering us on I'm sure as we're sailing along we'll hear screams of 'C'mon little Steve, off you go! ... don't forget your lunch!'... don't shout too loud Mum!
