Tents
Neighbours under canvas.

A tent community has gone up outside a block of ex-Marines flats in Poole which are up for sale at knock-down prices.

They've spent almost two weeks camping here, braving the wind and weather. Even the snow on Sunday night didn't put them off, they all got together for a barbecue.

They have spent almost two weeks under canvas.
Recently cited as one of the most expensive places in the world to buy a home, these former military apartments some of which boast views of Poole harbour are certainly value for money, they're priced between £55,000-£68,000.

And although they are only under canvas at the moment they are at least getting toknow who their neighbours might be.

The sale begins on March 2 and they'll go to the first 18 in queue, although 9 of those are allocated to MOD personnel. The flats were formerly married couples quarters for the Royal Marines base at Hamworthy.
