Members of the pop group, "The Backstreet Boys", have appealed to a missing teenage girl to return to her home in Southampton.

Michaela Montague was last seen four days ago on Valentine's Day - it's thought she could be with someone she met through an internet chatroom.

Michaela's mother, Sasha Bryant said:

"It's very hard at the moment and I really hope Michaela contacts us soon to tell us she is safe."

Det Sgt Damon Kennard, who is leading the hunt for Michaela, said:
"We have no direct evidence that Michaela has gone off with someone but she did access chat rooms prior to her disappearance and therefore we cannot rule out at this time that she may have met someone and perhaps taken it a step further."

13 year old Michaela had no money, no bank account or cash. She's believed to be wearing a tight pink T-shirt and dark blue jeans.

The youngster was described as a lively, bubbly teenager by her mother:

"If she has gone away on her own and she doesn't want to come back we just need to know she is OK. This is not like her. The last thing we said to each other before she disappeared was that we loved each other."

Michaela and her mother had recently moved from Gosport to the Shirley area of Southampton.

Michaela's mum Sasha Bryant says it's unlike to her to run away and the circumstances are very worrying: Audio
