Man charged with murder

The man was attacked outside the Leisure World complex

Hampshire police have charged a man with the murder of Andrew Heath who died on Tuesday January 24th following an attack near the taxi rank outside the Leisure World complex on Sunday.

Southampton Magistrates Court

Nineteen year old Oliver Stanley Cozens, who is a carpenter from the Thornhill area of the city appeared in Southampton Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Winchester Crown Court on Monday for a preliminary hearing.

An eighteen year old woman has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
